I tried an Absolute and the Traverse at the shop. The Traverse was the winner and the disc brakes are a must. Great bike so far.
Bought this bike for me wife and I got an e-bike. I was skeptical that this bike would work for where we wanted to ride but we've had it for about 8 months and so far I'm impressed. We've taken it to the river walk and on some of the gravel paths and it's done really well. I would say get this if you want something a little less agressive than a mountain bike but still able to handle some mixed terrain.
I had the shop put a e-bike conversion kit on this bike for me and it can hit 22mph! I love my traverse. Good bike, good price.

I bought this bike to ride mostly on pavement but I also wanted to do some of the gravel roads near me. It did not disappoint. I've had my Traverse for about a year now and I love it. I can keep up with my kids but I can still lift it on the the rack on the car. A win win for me!
