Hobie Rectangular Hatch Kit Vertical Orientation

With the Hobie Rectangular Hatch Kit you can add a A VERTICAL RECTANGULAR HATCH IN THE CENTER OF THE COCKPIT of YOUR Hobie FISHING KAYAK. WithTHE RECTANGULAR HATCH IN FRONT OF THE SEAT you can add A RECTANGULAR GEAR BUCKET (Sold Separately) that MAKES A GREAT STORAGE AREA FOR FISHING TACKLE OR OTHER ITEMS YOU NEED QUICK ACCESS TO ON THE WATER. WE DECIDED TO MOVE THE FACTORY INSTALLED 8" ROUND HATCH UP TO THE BOW FOR ANOTHER STORAGE POINT AND A PLACE TO REST OUR FISH FINDER BATTERY. ADDITIONALLY, WE INSTALLED AN 8" TWIST AND SEAL HATCH IN THE AFT CARGO DECK TO YIELD IN-HULL ACCESS FOR INSTALLING A POWER POLE MICRO & UL 8' SPIKE.

Since the seat change went into effect on 2022 MY Compass kayaks, the Vertical Rectangular Hatch Kit (pn 77701801) is no longer compatible.

Good news is the Horizontal Rectangular Hatch kit (pn 71707003) is still compatible. Fit of the rectangular gear bucket remains inconsistent.
